  • Certain roles may require an up-to-date DBS check.

  • Volunteers are not employees and will not receive payment unless agreed for specific roles (e.g., paid performances).

  • We reserve the right to withdraw volunteering opportunities at any time.

 

4. Musicians and Performers

  • Some engagements are offered on a paid basis, and these will be confirmed in writing before the event.

  • Payment terms will be outlined in a separate agreement for each engagement.

  • You must arrive on time and prepared for performances.

  • Cancellations should be communicated as early as possible.

 

5. Event Attendance

  • Event participants must follow any instructions from The Jolly Project staff or volunteers.

  • We may take photographs or video recordings at events for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear, please notify us in writing before the event.

 

6. Safeguarding

  • We are committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.

  • Anyone working in roles involving these groups must comply with our safeguarding policy and may be subject to background checks.

 

7. Intellectual Property

  • All content on our website and promotional materials (including text, images, audio, and video) is owned by or licensed to The Jolly Project.

  • You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without written permission.

 

8. Liability

  • We will take reasonable steps to ensure our events and activities are safe.

  • However, participation is at your own risk, and we are not liable for personal injury or loss except where caused by our negligence.
